So for this week I saw the first 20 mins of The Devil wears Prada. This movie is very pertinent to what my Monday night Web Portfolio class is all about. Unlike Swingers the career aspect is very visible. The character that Anne Hathaway portrays in the movie is basically the opposite of what we should do as recent graduates trying to get into the field. She was very dismissive and care free. Not to say that we should stress but we shouldn't be so loose. She didn't have the attitude of a person who was interested in obtaining a foothold in her career field. She obviously was not interested in keeping that job for more than she needed to so in turn she saw it as a “job that pays the bills” instead as the start to a new career path.
